ETS stays for Engineering Test Station and it is meant to be used for activities like Application Development, Burn-in Boards design debug and Test program verification.
Main features
The ETS gives a direct access to the top of the Burn-in Board to easily insert or remove devices, running and stopping tests, measuring voltages, currents, or waveform directly on the Burn-in Board while the test is running.
The top roof of the equipment can comfortably hold devices, oscilloscopes, multimeters, logical analyzers or other measurement instrumentation and tools.
Alternatively, instruments can be on a rack positioned aside the station. The user can stand in front of the Burn-in Board, or sit in front of the display/keyboard.
Test platforms
The ETS can be equipped with any EDA Test Platform, with options like: Individual DUT Temperature Control, Parametric Test Capability, High Power.
Software platform
The ETS software is the EDA HD6, in its Basic or Enhanced version.
It is the same software running in the EDA Burn-in and Reliability Equipment, of course without the control of any chamber.
Other software packages are usually installed in the ETS, such as EDA DataViewer, EDA Test Plan Editor or EDA Pattern Converter.
