TC 1200-E HC Thermal Cycler

Since 2003, the EDA engineering division has been producing the most traditional temperature stress system: thermal shock in air at two fixed temperatures.

The market’s constant request to increase load capacity to the maximum while maintaining very high thermal performance led EDA Industries to study new solutions, arriving at the production of a machine with useful rack volume of 440 l; the robustness of the system and the ease of monitoring and management provided by the chamber synoptic platform developed on the Siemens S7 platform have made this product very much appreciated and widely used in the qualification of components for aerospace.

We have recently developed a GEN 2 version, with increased performances:

Main Features:

  • Temperature range (hot chamber) +40°C / +220°C
    Temperature range (cold chamber) -80°C / +60°C
  • Basket internal Volume: 315 liters
  • Basket Max load capacity: 80Kg
  • Compliance with MIL-STD-883K METHOD 1010.9 TEMPERATURE CYCLING Letters A, B, C and F

OPUS 100 OLT/PTC

The OPUS 100 is a burn-in system that can be composed by 1/2/4 chambers with 12 BiB slots each.
Each Chamber can be factory-configured to run OLT or PTC test type, resulting in different thermal system specification.

System Architecture:

  • The Test Electronics is based on the powerful EDA VBTS system, with one PTDM that drives up to 6 BIB/LOAD slots.
  • The DUT Board (BIB) is inserted in the enviromental chamber, and typically host up to 4 DUTs.
  • The LOAD Board contains all the Loads that are usually big and cannot stand high/low temperatures. 
    This board is inserted in the driver cabinet, that is thermally controlled to maintain room temperature.

Main Features:

  • 12 BiB Slots per chamber for a modular construction of a 12/24/48 slots system.
  • 1/2/4 independent thermal chambers,
    with 12 BiB slots each,
    1000 liters each
  • Fixed BiB Racks
  • Manual BiB insertion/extraction.
  • Compatible with OPUS BiB standards 
  • External Cooling Unit for a reduced test floor area.
