Last week, on December 5 and 6, our Business Development Manager Andrea Lucaroni attended the first edition of the IEEE RAS in Automotive Summit, sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society and the Test Technology Technical Council.

The event, held at the Polytechnic University of Turin site at the Lingotto Congress Centre, brought together academic researchers and industry leaders to share their vision on the principal Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) challenges that the Automotive market is facing.

We sincerely thank the Organizing Committee for the kind invitation, as well as for the meaningful occasion of insight and networking.

On Thursday, December 5, the Technical Director Alessandro Polpetta and the R&D Application Engineer Giovanni Susinni had the pleasure of presenting EDA Industries and its activities to students in the second year of the Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering at Catania University.

The event took place within the course in Electronic Systems taught by Professor Alfio Dario Grasso, representing another valuable opportunity to connect our company with young people interested in working in a dynamic and international environment.

During the meeting, held only two days later our presence at the Catania Campus Recruiting of Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, we paid special attention to the concepts of Burn-in and Reliability of semiconductor devices, also illustrating a useful application case to better understand the main responsibilities of our engineers.

Last November 26, we attended the Career Day organized by the Department of Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering of Roma Tre University.

A great number of students visited our stand to learn more about EDA Industries and its job opportunities, asking us many questions and showing their strong passion and curiosity.

During the event, our Technical Director Alessandro Polpetta had also the occasion to make a successful company presentation, focused on the principal activities and responsibilities of our Engineers.

It has been a pleasure to be a Gold Sponsor of the 39th edition of the Conference on Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems (DCIS 2024), a relevant international meeting held in Catania from November 13 to 15.

The event, organized by the University of Catania and its Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, involved both professionals of industry and researchers in the academia, providing opportunities to exchange new ideas and suggestions in the fields of micro-and nano-electronic circuits and integrated systems.

During the three days, we presented our solutions in the exhibition area, having at the same time the honor to be part of a panel session, in which our R&D Application Engineer Giovanni Susinni discussed with other distinguished speakers on the important topic of skill shortage in electronics.

Special thanks to professors Salvatore Pennisi and Alfio Dario Grasso for including us in this congress, which certainly represented also a good occasion to strengthen the meaningful relationship with the local University.

Last Wednesday, November 6, we participated in the Career Day organized by the University of L'Aquila to introduce students and recent graduates to our company and its job opportunities.

Many participants came to our stand to learn more about our business reality, and it has been a great pleasure to answer to their questions and discuss with them about their career aspirations.
