{"id":4081,"date":"2026-02-02T12:33:37","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T11:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eda-industries.net\/?post_type=job_positions&#038;p=4081"},"modified":"2026-02-02T16:15:51","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T15:15:51","slug":"service-engineer-2","status":"publish","type":"job_positions","link":"https:\/\/www.eda-industries.net\/en\/job-positions\/service-engineer-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Service Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for a Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize semiconductor test systems across Singapore, Japan, and Taiwan, ensuring minimal downtime and high operational efficiency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The role includes machine installation and commissioning, customer and vendor coordination, inventory management, quality and safety checks, data analysis, and reporting, with occasional overseas travel and weekend standby as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be responsible to keep all Burn-in systems in Singapore, Japan, and Taiwan at an agreed level of efficiency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide support for all other EDA APAC customers when required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with customers and third-party service providers independently to ensure that services are delivered effectively with the support of the Service Manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with customers and follow up on all Purchase Orders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee and meet the service level for routine and corrective maintenance tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor test systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for new machine installation, commissioning, and buy-off with comprehensive report generation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in data analysis for all systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take control of local inventory: monitor and reorder when needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generate and publish reports to the service manager on a weekly basis or as per request<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for all assigned tools, test equipment, test jigs, and any other assets provided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support weekend standby based on requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel overseas as and when required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any job assigned from time to time by the Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required skills and qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diploma\/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics\/Communication Engineering or other equivalent qualifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 2 years of experience as service engineer in a semiconductor company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical experiences with electrical wiring diagrams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troubleshooting skill with electrical wiring and refrigeration systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic computer literacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good diagnostics and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to travel locally and abroad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MS office package (Word, Excel and Power Point)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Classification<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place of work: Singapore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability: immediate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working hours: full time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualification: employee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contract type: Permanent position, with salary based on experience and qualifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">Join us<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you want to apply?
