{"id":3886,"date":"2025-09-30T12:56:19","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T10:56:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eda-industries.net\/?post_type=job_positions&#038;p=3886"},"modified":"2025-09-30T15:19:56","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T13:19:56","slug":"purchasing-specialist","status":"publish","type":"job_positions","link":"https:\/\/www.eda-industries.net\/en\/job-positions\/purchasing-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Purchasing Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking a proactive and organized Purchasing Specialist to support our procurement operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\/She will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The role requires strong attention to detail, cost management skills, and the ability to maintain productive relationships with vendors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnership<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expedite, track, and update purchase orders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Source, negotiate and monitor all materials\/commodities, equipment, service and vendors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with suppliers for scheduling and evaluate supplier delivery performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage inventory levels, reduce waste, oversee the shelf life and lifecycle of materials and perform necessary action (MDA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support cost reduction programs for new and existing project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and maintain materials planning and control principal management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinating with Sales and Production team on purchases of products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process of invoicing, delivery orders, and other shipping docs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collecting and analysing purchasing data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimating costs and comparing budget with actuals purchases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring costs after significant changes in products processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product delivery planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generating PO for all needed materials and issuing approved PO to designated suppliers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials costing, gathering all the quotation\/price per items\/project and send to Sales personnel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform other duties as requested by the Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required skills and qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3-5 years proven experience as purchasing, business development, or a related role in semiconductor industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Classification<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place of work: Jasin (Malaysia)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability: immediate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working hours: full time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualification: employee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contract type: Permanent position, with salary based on experience and qualifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">Join us<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you want to apply?
