On July 2, the EDA Group Founder Fortunato Palella and the Chief Financial Officer Donna Bidua attended the prestigious Italy-Malaysia Business Forum in Rome.
This event was promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority, and MATRADE.
Participants included the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, the Malaysian Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, the Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Zafrul Aziz, and the Malaysian Foreign Minister, Mohamad Hasan.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for dialogue and discussion between institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders from both countries, with the objective of fostering stronger economic and industrial partnerships.
As known, EDA Industries, founded in 1993 in Italy, strongly believes in Malaysia’s strategic position as an investment destination. This is confirmed by the opening in December 2024 of a new Malaysian plant of more than 5000 sqm in Jasin (Melaka). This site officially replaced the previous one in Tangkak and enforced our commitment to consolidate and expand our presence in the country.
«It has been an honor to be involved in this meaningful Business Forum – affirms the EDA Group Founder Fortunato Palella – Events like this provide professionals with concrete opportunities to expand their networks, keep up to date with the most relevant market trends, and prepare to operate in an increasingly connected and competitive global ecosystem».
